The Rooibos plant is only found in the craggy Cederberg Mountains around the 200 year old town of Clanwilliam, known worldwide as‘The Rooibos Capital’.
The popular factory shop at Rooibos Limited has moved to bigger and better premises in the heart of Clanwilliam to offer visitors a fuller and finer Rooibos experience.
The new House of Rooibos offers a unique Rooibos encounter with a tea room, shop and information centre. Come and enjoy a free refreshing cup of Rooibos and see our informative displays and audio visual presentation about the history and production process of this singular beverage.
The shop offers a range of original, flavoured and blended Rooibos teas, Rooibos related food and cosmetic products, souvenirs and gift items.
The tea room offers various Rooibos drinks and a menu of light meals including quiches, muffins, tarts and cakes – all prepared with Rooibos as an ingredient.
Come and enjoy the ultimate Rooibos experience and warm Clanwilliam hospitality at the House of Rooibos at number 4 Voortrekker Street, Clanwilliam.
Open Mondays to Fridays between 09:00 and 17:00.
